This is one of the safest of the advanced hypermiling techniques.  It takes advantage of aerodynamic situations created when a hypermiler like us goes at or below posted speed limits and the normal folk go around you to zoom off to their destinations.

I was doing my usual reading on Hypermiling when I came across an article on CBN News.

My jaw dropped and so did my heart. I was appalled at how much ignorance showed not only in the comments to it but in the main article itself. Rant follows.
